Mr. Jimeno graduated at the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. He obtained his MBA degree in 1983 from the same university.

Prior to joining the Philippine Foreign Service, Mr. Jimeno worked with SVG & Company as a management services consultant.
