Programs

The USAA has three major programs:

Medical Relief Program
provides support to town clinics and hospitals that are in dire need of medical supplies and equipment especially in times of disaster.

Books for the Libraries Program
provides support to community literacy programs by donating books and other reading materials to town and/or school libraries as needed.

Scholarship Program
provides scholarship grants to the underprivileged and very poor students who aspire but cannot afford to go to college.


Ongoing Projects

Mamanwa & Manobo Scholarship
offers scholarship grants to the indigenous people of Surigao; the Mamanwa from Surigao del Norte and the Manobo from Surigao del Sur.

Schooling for Disabled Youth
participates in the "adapt a Disabled Student" program of the Loving Presence Foundation, Inc., in Surigao del Sur, that provides special education for the deaf-mute/blind children and youth from very poor families.

Togbongon Orphanage
provides financial support to an orphanage in Surigao del Norte housing around 70 orphans and/or homeless youth.
